Nearly ready

You can assess how ready you are to embark on such changes, and if you are not ready you can determine what you should do to get ready.

4: Readiness for change

Even if the argument for change is compelling, the task of bringing it about could be formidable. As the problem is systemic, the solution needs to be coherent and the approach to implementing it holistic. You will need therefore to involve many stakeholders and take into account a range of factors, some of which might be unique to your particular business and at this particular point in time. The table above shows your assessment of the three main factors that need to be taken into account before starting the change process:

1. Commitment to change
2. Capability to change
3. Capacity to change
