Step 2 provides four main reports and involves:

1. Benefits of the full diagnostic and global survey
2. Representative’s workshop report

3. Survey workshop leader’s report

The survey leader plays a key role in forming and coordinating the representative sample. He or she receives a survey workshop leader’s report which serves two purposes: (1) It provides a detailed analysis of the workshop results to help in evaluating the case for change and planning the changes necessary; and (2) It enables the leader to validate the data before submitting it to the global survey. In doing this, the leader also enters factual, company specific data (e.g. turnover, number of employees) on behalf of the company. The workshop members and the leader may edit their data and re-run their reports as often as they need to achieve a representative result.

4. Global benchmarking report
5. IBM performance management research report
