BBRT - Beyond Budgeting Roundtable BBRT in Europe
The BBRT started life in Europe in 1998. Since then it has grown with networks established in North America and Australia. It welcomes all individuals and organizations that wish to learn about and improve their performance management processes and culture. the only belief you need is that you share in the problems identified and would like to move towards a better approach.
Most of the European meetings to date have been held in the UK, with a few in Sweden, Germany and Switzerland. BBRT networks are planned in several European countries, to allow for different languages, business cultures and distance.
Membership is offered on a global or regional basis. BBRT is active in research as well as external awareness in conference presentations and articles published in business journals.
Further learning though Special Interest Groups focused on applying the model in specific sectors are available. Current Special Interest Groups include Financial Services and Public Sector. The Public Sector Interest Group (PSIG) has been launched in Europe. Two introductory meetings and an initial launch meeting have been held and the next meeting is planned for 9 February 2005.
