The Future of Management – Pioneering a new way of managing business

Increasing globalization, severely fluctuating oil and stock market prices, and unexpected financial crisis in the USA: this was yesterday’s case, but today this is out of date and tomorrow we have new problems. Increasing uncertainty, rapidly increasing complexity and dynamics now determine the problems of our time.

A few advanced organizations have begun to address this. Hilti, StatoilHydro, Trisa, Globetrotter and W.L. Gore, producer of GORE-TEX®, are among the pioneers. These organizations are thinking and acting differently to their competitors. They have identified that today’s unimaginable issues will become tomorrow’s reality. They have fundamentally changed they way they manage their organizations and found that this has created a sustainable competitive advantage.

This year’s Forum links these practical experiences with the research results of the BBRT and also with inputs from management gurus Dr. Reinhard K. Sprenger and Prof. Hans A. Wüthrich
